A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available, specializing in teletherapy services within a school setting. This role offers the opportunity to support students through telespeech and teletherapy methods in Grundy County, Illinois, from the current school year until May 2026.
Location:
- Based in Joliet, IL
- Serving multiple sites including Walnut Trails Elementary, Minooka Primary Center, and Minooka Elementary
- Focus on self-contained autism programs with 33-43 students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services to students in a school environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with relevant school experience
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy techniques
- Experience working with children in self-contained autism settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time, 32.5-37.5 hours per week
